All About Jerry!

Gerald William "Jerry" Trainor was born on January 21, 1977. He is an American television and movie actor. He has been recognized for Jim Carrey-esque take on acting. He is most notable for his roles in popular Nickelodeon shows, playing Crazy Steve in Drake & Josh and Spencer Shay in iCarly. He stars alongside Miranda Cosgrove in both of these Nickelodeon sitcoms and their associated TV movies (Merry Christmas, Drake and Josh and iGo To Japan).

Trainor was born and raised in San Diego, California, and graduated from the University of San Diego High School in 1995. Trainor was active in the school's drama program, and his mother, Madelyn, is a mathematics teacher there. He has one sister, Liz Trainor.

Trainor is currently single and lives alone with his dog, Shoe in Los Angeles.

His first television role was in the risqué MTV series Undressed. Some of his other television credits include: Law & Order, Angel, and Malcolm in the Middle. His first recurring TV role was as Brian "the A.V. guy" on Crossing Jordan. He also has had a number of small roles in films such as the science fiction/horror film Donnie Darko, and the cheerleader comedy sequel, Bring It On Again.

Trainor is also in a World of Warcraft video series called Project Lore. He plays the healer Goggins, who is a Draenei shaman.
